We are a small, yet growing, law firm in need of an experienced, reliable, and proactive Family Law Paralegal. The Paralegal will work directly with our attorneys to prepare for upcoming cases, get involved in fact-finding projects and assist in drafting pleadings and discovery responses for all cases. Our caseload is growing and the ideal candidate for this position is organized, professional, responsible, and committed to helping us meet all of our clients’ needs.
As a paralegal you will be required to assist the attorneys and other paralegals/legal assistants throughout the firm. Our firm policy is teamwork. We work as a team and we are a close-knit group of professionals who work with a servant’s heart.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of family law experience, excellent attention to detail, research skills, the ability to work under pressure, great communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for the family law industry and for justice for our clients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Indexing and maintaining the filing system
*Drafting pleadings and discovery responses (must have at-least 2 years experience)
*Direct and frequent communication with clients, opposing counsels, and court staff
*E-filing
*Trial and hearing preparation
*Assisting the other paralegals/legal assistants, as needed
